Safety & equipment CANCELLATIONs

Based on our remote mountain location, weather and snowpack conditions can have big impacts on our operations. If the conditions are deemed hazardous by the lead guide, a trip may be cancelled the evening prior to your arrival. Other situations, like equipment failure, may cause us to cancel your trip. In these cases, your deposit will be held as credit for a future date available.

If the weather/snowpack or equipment lead to a cancellation mid-day, you will only be charged based on the percentage of the day completed.

Trip Insurance

Based on all the variables that might lead to a trip cancellation, we highly recommend travel insurance. This can help with costs associated with trip cancellations, travel delays, loss of baggage/travel documents, medical expenses, and emergency assistance. We recommend: Travel Guard, RipCord, and Global Rescue.
